95 kilometers from Puerto Vallarta, nestled on 100 acres of some of Mexico’s most biodiverse land, sits Hotelito Desconocido.
El Hotelito Desconocido (the little unknown hotel) Features 24 Palafitos (thatched cabannas) -some reachable only by boat- built over the water and raised on stilts. The design is positively green, and no only pleasing to the environment but also one’s senses. As there are no phones in this little oasis, room services are summoned by raising a white flag just outside each cabanna. In keeping with the Green Theme, all fans are solar powered, and running water is solar heated.
For entertainment, guests are able to kayak through the Hotel’s natural Estuary, or aid marine biologists in collecting sea turtle eggs for further study and preservation. Truely an inspiring and Green Vacation. And who can resist views and luxury like this!?
