G-Wiz, who knew it was so Easy?

The UK has the right idea!

Exclusively from GoinGreen, the G-Wiz AEV (Automatic Electric Vehicle) is a London icon. The best selling EV in the UK and twice winner of the Best City Car award from the Environmental Transport Association, the G-Wiz was designed in California and is manufactured by Indo-US Reva Electric Car Company.

The New G-Wiz i- 2008 model offers improved performance, interior space and safety, whilst continuing to deliver the UK’s lowest cost, lowest emissions motoring.

Small and nippy, it’s ideal for congested urban roads. The advanced ac drivetrain and anti roll bar delivers a smoother more powerful ride, a range of up to 48 miles per charge, a certified top speed of 50 mph, 40% extra mid range torque, swift acceleration to 30 mph (60% quicker than its nearest competitor, making other EVs appear sluggish), whilst the tiny turning circle make the G-Wiz i easy to manoeuvre, simple to park and fun to drive.

The G-Wiz i is designed to be upgradeable to hi-performance li-ion batteries and features a new curved windshield, a new instrument panel, foldable rear child seats, central locking, a two year warranty**, one year roadside recovery and a choice of servicing packages. Choose from our standard colour impregnated and fully recyclable body colours in marine blue, lightning silver or deep black, plus a range of extras including a DAB radio / CD with mp3 player input. At $13,894.00 i would say it’s well worth it’s money, and the earth will thank you!

Giving New Meaning to the “Electric Slide”

Piezoelectric clothing! That’s what the dames in the know are wearing these days. While they only conduct enough electricity throughout the day to power your cellphone and other beloved pocket gadgets, it opens the doors for a larger scale of innovation!

Set to steal the show at San Fransisco’s upcoming 2ndSkin Expo, these articles of clothing feature electricity generating fabrics at the joints of the elbows and hips. The mechanical stress created by walking, bending, or getting naughty on the dance floor is stored up as voltage in a built in battery which can then be used later (presumably) to power your hand-held, and pocket friendly gadgets!

While usually the highlights of this lovely Special Interest Magazine are unique renovations, makeovers, and DIY articles, one finds a gem every now and then. One such example highlights a Seattle resident who recently remodeled his kitchen to make it more spacious and eco-friendly!

His recently remodeled kitchen features a new coat of VOC-free (volatile organic compound) paint, back-splashes made of 90% recycled glass, Marmoleum (VOC-free, durable green products made from natural ingrediants) flooring, Used Cabinets made of wood from forests adhering to Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) practices, and Paperstone ( non-toxic, composite material made from recycled paper, cashew nut shell oils, and water based resins) counter tops. Double paned wood windows, a high-efficiency furnace and instant hot water faucet were also installed, along with an energy-efficient refrigerator and dishwasher!

While these products may be pricey at first, in the long run you make your money back almost doubled in savings on your bills, not to mention the cleaner environment you live in. These newer products are not only eco-friendly, but easy on the eyes as well!
